Commissioner of Police Mr. Michael Charles hosted a media briefing at police headquarters yesterday in an effort to bring the public up to date with activities surrounding the recent training exercises of the regional security system RSS.
Mr. Charles noted these activities are used to investigate the conditions of the forest; unauthorized farming above water sheds and gives the RSS the opportunity to conduct training exercises for its members with live fire in jungle conditions.
This exercise turned up a number cannabis farms, plants, and compressed cannabis.
A number of firearms were also confiscated.
