The three-day 4th annual meeting of National AIDS Programme managers and key partners of the Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP), begins in Trinidad on Wednesday.

It is being held in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Caribbean Office, and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS).

Trinidad and Tobago’s Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh will be among several speakers at the opening ceremony of the conference that is being held under the theme “Universal Access to HIV services in the Caribbean”.

The meeting agenda is intended to allow for in-depth analysis and discussion on the post 2015 agenda, and the overall advancements of the Caribbean region in implementing new initiatives for HIV.
