One hundred and forty participants have been accepted into cohort 4 of the Supportive Education Training (SET) Programme which commences next Tuesday June 6.

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines commenced the SET Programme in March of 2014.

Cabinet Secretary, Kathian Barnwell in her remarks at a ceremony held at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown this morning to welcome cohort 4 and award the participants of cohort 3, said the SET programme which is funded by PetroCaribe has catered to over 600 participants thus far.

She also commended the third cohort of participants.

The Cabinet Secretary admonished participants of cohort 4 to commit themselves towards performing in line with an even above the high standards that would have been set by the previous participants of the SET Programme.

The primary purpose of the SET Programme is to create opportunities for young people by giving them on the job experience.
