The newly Renovated Hospital in Bequia was officially opened last Thursday with Minister of Health, Hon. Clayton Burgin saying the renovation is part of a wider plan of the Ministry to have health facilities fully functional throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Burgin also stated the Ministry of Health and by extension the government’s commitment to modernize the national health sector.
Minister Burgin further noted that the renovated Hospital in Bequia is one of several projects undertaken in collaboration with the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF), a regional poverty reduction programme managed by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
