The New Testament Church of God, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through its Educational arm the Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean – St. Vincent Campus, will hold a Symposium on “Medical Cannabis- It’s Effects and Implications.

The Symposium will hear from a medical doctor, a lawyer, a renowned minister of religion and personnel from the Bureau of Standard.

It will seek to address the topic from a legal, medical and religious point of view after which it will prepare its own position paper on the issue.

The event will be chaired by the New Testament Church of God, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Education Director, Bishop Chesley Ferdinand, who is a trained counselor.

It will also hear brief address from the Administrative Bishop of the New Testament Church of God SVG and St. Lucia Bishop, Wendell Davis.

The ministers of Agriculture and Health of SVG are expected to be in attendance and will also bring brief remarks.

The symposium will commence at 6:30 p.m. at the New Testament Church of God church, Wilson Hill, Kingstown on Wednesday, November 7.

The general public is invited.
