The National Omnibus Association, NOBA, has outlined the recommendations which it has presented to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Transport Board, to improve the Public Transportation System here.

The Association hosted a News Conference on Sunday July 19th, to discuss the proposals, and to outline the challenges currently being faced by minibus operators and the traveling public.

According to NBC News, President of the Association Anthony Bacchus, claims that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is the only country in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) that does not have an organized system of Public Transport.

He said the proposals presented to the Transport Board are intended to provide a framework for regulating the sector.
