The National Nine Mornings Committee on Sunday December 20th began judging in the 2015 Vinlec Community Lighting Competition.
Speaking to WEFM News this morning, Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Michael Peters, said judging on Sunday was done on the Windward side of the island.
Judging will take place from seven each evening, and communities, gardens and houses will be judged at the same time in the various zones.
The results will be announced on Thursday December 24th at 6:00am during the Nine Mornings Programme in Kingstown.
Point Village emerged the winner of the competition last year.
