Off-spinner Sunil Narine has completed his switch to reigning Caribbean Premier League champions, the Trinidad and Tobago franchise, in a move that will see him reunited with Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

The 27-year-old Trinidadian has turned out for Guyana Amazon Warriors since the CPL’s inception in 2013 but will return to his home country for the upcoming season, set to bowl off in June.

Meanwhile, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is refuting a suggestion that it forced veteran cricketer Shivnarine Chanderpaul to retire from international cricket so that he can play in the inaugural Masters Cricket League T20 currently underway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Chanderpaul is claiming that a No Objection Certificate issued to him by the WICB contained a threatening clause, which forced him to call time on his international career.
