The 2015 Trinidad National Championships opened at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain on The 26th of June with acceptable performances from Team Athletics St. Vincent and the Grenadines (TASVG) as the athletes made the qualification mark in the 400m men and women preliminaries. Notwithstanding, Courtney Williams found it very challenging in his 100m preliminary round.
The competition continued on Saturday 27 June with Parris, Shearman and Alexander once again holding their own in the 400m. They were joined by Exeter in the in the Long Jump, who continued to show potential to greater performances. Once again however Williams found it tough going in his 100m semi-finals.
