The Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation and Information will be hosting a training workshop for Minibus Operators.
The training will take place on Sunday August 12, 2018 at the Thomas Saunders Secondary School from 10:00am to 3:00pm as part of the Ministry’s continuing thrust to promote child friendly environments for students in the spaces that they occupy.
The workshop aims to improve the knowledge of Minibus Operators on Road Safety, Positive Behavior Management and Responsible Bus Operations.
There will be presentations by the Traffic Department and the Ministry of Transport and Works.
Minibus drivers, Conductors and owners are invited to attend the workshop.
The activity, sponsored by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is a follow up to the Ministry’s Minibus Operators Day which was held in 2017 and served to sensitize operators on their need to ensure the safety of students whilst underscoring our dependence on the service they provide.
