The Ministry of Education organized a First Aid training session for childcare providers.
The training took place on Tuesday, October 17 at the Red Cross Headquarters and was facilitated by the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross.
A total of twenty preschool teachers were equipped with the essential skills to respond to emergencies and injuries on the job.
The content covered were environmental emergencies, sudden illnesses, cardiac emergencies and choking.
This First Aid activity underscored the fact that children are most vulnerable in their early years, when unintentional injuries occur as a result of sudden accidents.
