The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment now has a new Permanent Secretary.
Mr. Cuthbert Knights assumed the post as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health earlier this month.
He replaces, Mr. Luis Deshong who proceeded on pre-retirement leave on December 30, 2016.
Mr. Knights is a former Hospital Administrator and was serving as the Director of Trade prior to taking up this new appointment.
The Ministry of Health said on its facebook page that Mr. Knights has the experience and skills necessary to make a big difference in the delivery of healthcare and environmental services throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
