Minister of Information, Hon. Camillo Gonsalves says Vincentians are expecting more from the Government in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Speaking on Monday at the opening of a training session and stakeholder workshop for the Internet Exchange Point (IXP), Minister Gonsalves said like the rest of the world Vincentians, especially the youths are seeking to have everything brought up to speed with the new digital trends and the Government must facilitate this development.
Minister Gonsalves said the Government will continue to press ahead with its programs aimed at enhancing and modernizing this country’s ICT capability, and added that the launch of the Internet Exchange Point here is an important step in this country’s technological development.
