Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Sir Louis Straker will be donating a quantity of cricket gears to the two Vincentian under 19 West Indies cricketers ahead of their travel to Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Gideon Pope and Obed McKoy were selected to represent the regional side in the ICC Youth World Cup to be held in Bangladesh from January 22nd to February 14th, 2016.
Minister Straker, in his address last Tuesday at the swearing in ceremony for Members of Parliament at the Assembly Chambers in Kingstown, congratulated the two Vincentians for their magnificent achievement.
The handing over ceremony takes place at 1:00 pm today at the Arnos Vale playing field.
