This country’s Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar, took part in the first ever Caribbean medical cannabis conference in Barbados from June 29th -30th at the University of the West Indies (UWI) ,Cave Hill Campus.
The conference which was hosted by Cannabis Management Resources in partnership with the Faculty of Medical Sciences UWI, featured some of the top Cannabis experts from around the world, with the aim of educating and advocating about the benefits and safe use of medical cannabis.
Topics included: pediatrics, applications of medical cannabis, addiction and cannabis therapy, evidence-based medical trials, patient cases, and the policy framework needed to build a modern medical cannabis industry.
