The St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) is appealing to members of the public to report any damaged or defective street lights.
VINLEC’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thornley Mayers issued the appeal while speaking at a media conference on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Communications Officer at VINLEC, Tamara Job-Sprott noted that customers sometimes meet a VINLEC employee and tell them of a fault, but that alone is not enough.
She said there is a procedure that members of the public should follow in order to ensure the fault is rectified in a timely manner.
