Deshorn Cordice, a 23-year-old resident of Calder Ridge, lost his life when he drowned at the Stubbs Bay on Sunday June 4, 2017.
Police said they received information on Sunday, around 7:30am, that the deceased was seen early Sunday morning in the sea water and later came out lying on the sand, before a swell pulled him inside the water.
Attempts were made to rescue Deshorn, but proved futile. His body was recovered and rushed to the Stubbs Poly Clinic, where he was pronounced dead.
