A small plane is scheduled to land at the Argyle International Airport on Thursday November 19th, 2015 to test the lighting system.

Speaking on Saturday at a political meeting of the Unity Labour Party (ULP) at the Arnos Vale Playing Field, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said this test is one of the requirements to be met before the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA), grants its approval.

Dr. Gonsalves said he has sought permission to be on the flight on Thursday.

The Prime Minister also said he has all the money needed to complete the International airport, and added that several airlines out of the USA, Canada and Europe are lined up to come to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
