Five schools in St. Vincent & the Grenadines have recorded CSEC pass rates of 80 percent or more in the 2015 exams.
The schools are; the Girls’ High School with 98. 27 percent; the St. Vincent Grammar School with 94. 41 percent; the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown, with 91.48 percent; the Thomas Sauders Secondary Secondary School with 87.30 percent and the Bishop’s College Kingstown with 80.28 percent.
The most improved School over was the Buccament Bay Secondary School with a pass rate of 70. 10 percent over last year’s 51.8 percent.
Thirteen schools obtained creditable pass rates between 60 and 80 percent.
One student, Abigail Kamila Dawn-Marie Scott of the Girl’s High School obtained 15 CSEC passes, all grade ones.
