Telecommunications provider LIME is investing big in this year’s Secondary Schools’ Public Speaking competition.

As Platinum Sponsor of the event, LIME yesterday handed over a cheque of $15,000 to organizers of the competition, the Lion’s Club South.

Speaking at the media launch for the Public Speaking competition held at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Training Room, LIME’s Country Manager, Mr. Wayne Hull said the company will also present prizes and scholarships to the finalists.

Mr. Hull said LIME will also make a contribution of $3,000 towards a school project of the first place winner of the competition.

Mr. Hull also said LIME is also seeking to provide LIVE streaming of the Public Speaking competition.
