Telecommunications provider, LIME, yesterday hosted its 2015 National Scholarship awards ceremony.

Scholarships were presented to four students Donya Lucas, Devon Ellis, Jéshari Munroe and Keishante Smart who excelled at this year’s Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA), as well as to the top three finalists in the LIME/LION’s Club Public Speaking Competition 2014.

LIME in collaboration with the Ministry of Education also presented a scholarship to Yannick Bacchus of Bishop’s College Kingstown, the Top CSEC Performer after Remediation.

In his remarks at the ceremony, LIME’s Country Manager, Mr. Wayne Hull said the annual presentation of scholarships to students is part of the company’s contribution to national development.

Mr. Hull said the scholarships are valid for a period of 7 years, and will amount to an investment of approximately 10,600 EC dollars for each child.
