Jamaica Tallawahs made it three wins in as many games in the 2018 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 tournament when they trounced St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 47 runs in match eight at Sabina Park yesterday.

After posting 178-4 from their 20 overs when asked to take first strike by Patriots, the Tallawahs utilised the conditions to perfection with the ball, as they restricted the Chris Gayle-led side to 131-9 from their allotment.

Only Gayle (24), Bangladeshi Mahmudullah (22) and Sheldon Cottrell (18) offered minimal resistance for the Patriots against Khrismar Santokie (2-13), Imad Wasim (2-21) and Adam Zampa (2-38).

With the win, Tallawahs remain atop the standing on six points, while the Patriots remain in fifth position on two points with one win and two losses.
