An investigation has been launched into the circumstances that caused a home to be destroyed by fire at New Montrose shortly after 11pm on Wednesday, October 28th, 2015.
According to a Police press release, reports claim that at approximately 11:11pm, a 10’x6’ wooden home owned by Nigel Lyttle of New Montrose caught aflame.
The contents and the house were completely destroyed, but there was no loss of life or damage to other properties.
It is reported that no one was at home at the time of the fire, however, the owner was not located. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
