Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi – met in New Delhi and exchanged views on range of issues to further reinforce bilateral ties.

On a first ever visit, Prime Minister Gonsalves is participated in high-level United Nations Convention on Combating Desertification (UNCCD) Symposium in New Delhi.

Both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation between the two countries including in the areas of skill development, training, education, finance, culture and disaster management.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on a 5 day visit to India,  is accompanied by Minister of health Luke Browne; Director of Forestry – Fitzgerald Providence; Cheryl Rodriguez; St. Vincent and the Grenadines High Commissioner to the United  Kingdom His Excellency Cenio Lewis.
