The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) and the National Sports Council (NSC) will officially open two Sporting facilities here next month.

The Hope Playing Field in Vermont will be opened on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

There will be addresses by Government and Sporting Officials, as well as an exhibition match between a Sports Council 11 and Jomo Thomas 11 teams.

On Sunday October 8, 2017, the Cumberland Playing Field will be opened and will be addressed by Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, other government and Sporting Officials.

There will be an exhibition match at 10:00 am between First Division Champs, North Leeward versus the winner of the Premiere Division, Lime Radcliffe.

The Feature match of the day will commence at 1:00pm between Prime Minister 11 and Carlos James 11.

On show will be former West Indies Captain, Darren Sammy, Grenadian/ Windward Islands Andre Fletcher and current West Indies player, Vincentian Keswick Williams.
