The St. Vincent Girl’s High School (GHS) placed first in the school based bands category of the 2017 Junior Panorama competition, with 239 points while Flow Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra placed first in the Community category with 247 points.
The Girl’s High School’s rendition was Posse / Move it, by Blacksand.
In second position in the school based bands category was Bethel High School with 196 points, with their rendition Forty years from Becket.
Marriaqua Primary School took third position with 189 points with Never Forget from Skarpyon. Sandy Bay Primary took 4th position.
In the Community category, Flow Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra’s winning rendition was Baila Sanka from X-A-Dus.
In second position in the Community bands cateogory of the 2017 Junior Panorama, was Starlift Steel Orchestra with 242 points with their rendition – the Winningest by Hero.
Third position went to Symphonix Steel Orchestra with 235 points and their rendition – Siyabonga by Jamesy P.
