The Girls High School and the Starlift Steel Orchestra retained their titles in the 2019 VINLEC Junior Panorama Competition, held last evening at the Victoria Park.

The Girl’s High School took the top spot, in the school’s category, with their rendition, Soca Battle Field by Delroy “Fireman” Hooper; the Bishop’s College Kingstown took the second position with their rendition Mass in the hospital by Ken “Professor” Philmore and placing 3rd is the New grounds Primary School with their rendition Wine For Your Life, by Orande “Bomani’s” Charles.

In the Community Band’s Category, the Starlift Steel Orchestra placed first with their rendition Take Me by Rasum Shallow, the Symphonix Steel Orchestra, placed 2nd with their rendition Rude Girl Posse by Winston Soso and Sion Hill Euphonium placed 3rd with their rendition Afro Caribbean by Blacksand.

Ten (10) steel orchestras competed in the school’s category, while 5 competed in the community bands category.
