France is to send 120 extra police officers to Calais as the migrant crisis there continues.
The measure comes as hundreds of migrants stormed the Channel Tunnel between France and the United Kingdom in an attempt to reach Britain — a dangerous breach that has paralyzed traffic and resulted in at least one death last night.
According to BBC News, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said the extra security officers would be temporarily based in Calais and would help to secure the border and the Eurotunnel site.
