Telecommunications Company, Flow, says its customers in the Grenadine islands can expect more reliable and stable service in the coming weeks.

This is in response to degraded services experienced by customers on both the broadband and TV platforms, with customers on several of the islands having experienced some disruption.

Lead Engineer, Marlon Bibby, explained that in late 2017 customers in the Grenadines have been experiencing some challenges with their services.

He said the challenges have been experienced by customers on the Legacy Lime and Legacy Flow networks, adding that it is a case where the Islands’ system have been hampered by some power related issues caused by faulty equipment.

Assuring that plans are already in the pipelines to resolve this issue, Bibby said customers should receive more reliable and consistent broadband service by the end of February.

Meanwhile, head of the Customer Experience team, Duane Samuel, said that presently, the team is working on a power project in the Grenadines which is expected to improve the power systems as well as the reliability and up time of these systems.

He added that the company is also working on a Grenadine radio project to improve the capacity to deliver bandwidth in the Grenadines and an additional radio project to improve the quality of video in the Grenadines.

Thanking the affected customers for their patience, Samuel extended apologies for the inconvenience caused over the last few months and stressed that having the issue resolved is of the company’s highest priority.
