Five bills are set to receive their first reading when Parliament convenes tomorrow, April 5th.

According to the Order Paper, the Bills include the Governor-General’s Emoluments and Pension (Amendment) Bill, 2016; the Geothermal Energy Development (Loan Authorization) Bill, 2016; Hugh Thomas Pension (Declaration) Bill, 2016; Triumph Covenant Ministries Inc. Bill, 2016; and the Victory Kingdom Covenant Ministries Inc, Bill 2016.

Two Petitions: The humble petition of the Trustees of the International Prayer House Ministries (IPHM) Inc. and the humble petition of the Trustees of the Baptist Bible College of the Caribbean will be tabled by Honourable Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs, Jimmy Prince.

Tomorrow’s sitting of Parliament will also feature a Report on the General Elections held on Wednesday December 9th, 2015 to be presented by Prime Minister and Minister of Electoral Matters, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
