The first group of workers from St. Vincent and the Grenadines is scheduled to leave the state today November 9, for Tortola, as part of recovery efforts to rebuild the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar told reporters at a press conference yesterday that the move comes following the devastation by the recent hurricanes.
Minister Caesar said that the delegation will be led by Mr. Montgomery King – a National of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, currently residing in Tortola.
He encouraged the workers to be good representatives of this nation.
