The building which houses Coreas mini mart in capital city Kingstown was ravaged by fire yesterday with remnants of it still smoldering up to this morning.
Investigators and officials from Coreas are expected to begin investigations today to ascertain cause and the extent of the damage sustained.
In an effort to contain the fire the tender from the ET Joshua airport in Arnos vale was called in to assist. One fire fighter was rushed to hospital during the blaze after having to receive assistance from her colleagues.
Many on lookers have praised the efforts of the local fire fighters but have however raised questions about their inability to contain a fire that close to the fire department.
