The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela hosted a concert yesterday evening in celebration of International Day of Musicians which was observed on November 22nd.

The concert was held at the Beachcombers Hotel, and featured the Mestizo’s Trio, comprising Venezuelan musicians, Vanessa Emperatriz, a 19 year old violinist, her father Raul Landaeta, and Trinidadian Michael Germain.

The group which has performed in several countries, performed more than fourteen renditions yesterday evening using their musical instruments which included the violin, cuatro and electric bass.

Delivering remarks at the start of the concert, Mrs. Daliana Guanipa, Chargee d’ Affaires of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in St. Vincent and the Grenadines said International Day of Musicians is a special tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to musical creation and execution.
