Police are soliciting the assistance of the public in identifying a decomposing body which was found in Yambou on the weekend.
According to Police the body was discovered at about 1:28pm on July 9, 2017. The victim’s face was extensively decomposed.
Investigations into the circumstances leading up to the cause of death are ongoing and a post mortem examination is expected to be carried out soon.
Police are asking relatives and friends who have a missing member, to contact the nearest police station, to assist in identifying the body of the deceased.
