Drake is being called the vulture of rap music and rapper D.R.A.M is insisting that the Toronto rapper stole his song “Cha Cha” for “Hotline Bling.”
According To Urban Islandz Drake new video “Hotline Bling” has been the hottest topic in hip hop circles since last week thanks to those dance moves. The song was already hugely successful without the video peaking at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100.
But shortly after the video went viral, D.R.A.M went on Twitter to vent his frustration saying that he felt like Drake jacked his song.
But Drake says the song and the video was inspired by dancehall culture of several artists rapping over the same beat.
