The camp which concludes on August 18, 2017 will cater for approximately one hundred children between the ages of 5 – 15 years.

They will be taken through the paces and exposed to several areas of competence including: Devotion, Social Graces, Art, Craft, Dance, Music, Sports, Math, Language and Science. They will also be taken on a Field Trip.

The camp which is into its fourteenth year is being convened under the theme: “BUILDING, NOW AND FOR THE FUTURE”.

This is one of several initiatives put in place by the Parliamentary Representative over several years, all geared at the further upliftment of the youths in the Constituency.

Participants at the opening ceremony on Monday heard a motivational speech presented by Miss SVG 2017 Jimelle Roberts who hails from the West St. George Community of Belair. She will be one of the facilitators of the camp, being a teacher herself and a language specialist.
