Following on the successful hosting of the All Stars Show, the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), returns with the second in its series of shows celebrating the four decades of the transition to June-July Mas with the highly anticipated “Clash of the Bands.”

Marketing Coordinator at CDC, Mr. Donnie Collins says the rejuvenation of this hugely popular show will see the return of bands such as Resurrection, X-Adus, Signal, HS Phaktor, and the undisputable road march champions Touch.

He says that in order to recreate the authentic look and sound of the bands, a number of big name artistes have also flown home to be part of this historic occasion, including Pat Raguette, Nolan “Nolly” Bulze, Gideon James, and Ken “ Wizzy” Wiseman.

Meanwhile, Chairman of CDC, Ricardo Adams says that final preparations for tomorrow night’s Clash of the Bands show is going quite well.

Mr. Adams says ticket sales are going well and persons can purchase tickets at the CDC Office at Victoria Park, Singer, the Music Centre, or Famous Richies at Heritage Square.

The “Clash of the Bands” show takes place tomorrow March 18 at 7:00pm at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex and will also feature DJ’s Danovan and Dr. Fugi, as well as performances from Sion Hill Steel Orchestra and presentations from some of SVG’s top Mas Bands.
