CARICOM Election Observation Mission says the results of the December 9th general election reflect the will of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The eight member CRICOM Observation Mission presented its preliminary report at a press conference yesterday at the New Montrose Hotel Conference Room.

Chief of Mission, Gasper Jn. Baptiste in presenting the report, said that no major concerns were observed.

The CARICOM Observation Mission visited 137 polling stations across 13 of the 15 established electoral districts.

The Mission will prepare a full report for submission to CARICOM Secretary General His Excellency Ambassador Irwin LaRocque which will include recommendations and suggestions for strengthening the electoral process here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
