Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment Luke Browne, said the Buccament Bay Poly-Clinic, forms part of this country’s Government’s thrust, towards the transformation of the delivery of health care services.

Delivering remarks during the opening of the clinic on Monday April 15, Minister Browne said the project was costly being constructed at 6 Million EC dollars.

The health Minister said the clinic is comprised of a waiting and reception areas, nursing stations, a communications office, a records room, a full delivery suite with a baby bathing area.

In providing a background of the project, Health Planner David Latchman said the facility is the most extensive investment in the area of health in SVG.

Mr. Latchman said he is optimistic that the new poly-clinic will serve residents of Buccament and other communities well.
