BRAGSA commenced its summer road cleaning program today, the 14th August in various communities throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The program is expected to run for a period of 2 weeks and will employ in excess of 4000 persons, these include truckers, gangs and jobbers. The clearing of drains and road verges will be the main focus throughout the program.

BRAGSA have been making every effort to clean the drains and are appealing to persons to desist from throwing garbage in the drains.

Meanwhile the authority also started its 2017 Road Repair Program and some repair works were done in Glen, Lowmans Windward, Sion Hill, Walvaroo, Murrays Village, Cane Garden, Belair, Paul’s Avenue, Block 2000 leading up to Lodge Village Government School and on the Central Leeward highway from Layou to Barrouallie.
