The Science Department of the Bishop’s College Kingstown (BCK), will on Friday October 16th, 2015, join with the National World Food Day Committee to host hold activities to celebrate World Food Day.
The activities will commence with an official ceremony from 9am, which will hear remarks from the Ministries of Agriculture, Education and National Mobilization.
The Keynote address would be delivered by the National World Food Day committee coordinator, Senior Forestry Supervisor Mr. Cornelius Richards of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Following the opening ceremony, an exhibition of local produce, locally processed goods and presentations of home garden concepts will be on display at the school’s hard court.
