Barbados Prime Minister, Mia Mottley is participating in the third meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Action Network on Post- Disaster Recovery in Puerto Rico.

A government statement said that Mottley, who was a part of a CARICOM delegation that visited the United Nations for talks with UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterras on the ongoing political situation in Venezuela, had been invited to participate in the closing session of the conference that is being held under the theme “Fortifying the future of the Caribbean Economy”.

The statement said that the session will be moderated by former United Stets President, Bill Clinton and that Prime Minister Mottley will use the opportunity to outline the vision for the future of the Caribbean Economy, and to share strategies and approaches that Action Network members can take to help realize the forward looking economic vision.
