Forty-two-year-old resident of Ontario, Canada, was on Tuesday arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
Reports from the Corporate Communications Unit are that Garnett Ricketts of Brampton was about to depart the island for Barbados when his luggage was searched and ganja weighing approximately two pounds found.
Ricketts who was later charged for taking steps to export and dealing in ganja is to appear in Court on Tuesday February 16th.
