The Police High Command in Jamaica yesterday said it was growing increasingly concerned about the frequency at which they were being called to investigate cases of suspected suicide in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

According to the Jamaica Observer, the concerns were raised yesterday after the JCF was again rocked by news of the death of two more policemen — one being investigated as a suspected suicide and the other being probed as death by natural causes.

The cases brought to five the number of JCF members who have died in the last two months. Three from that number are suspected to have committed suicide.
