Firefighters were early this morning fighting to extinguish a fire in the capital, Kingstown.

The fire reportedly got started at about 1:35 this morning at the old Treasury Building.

The Firemen were able to contain and eventually extinguish the fire.

The matter is presently being investigated.

The early morning fire is the second to have been set at the old Treasury building since August 23rd, 2015, when a fire destroyed the inside of the building, as well as the building that housed the Old Electoral Office in Kingstown.
