Britain’s Andy Murray reached the third round at Wimbledon with a one-sided win over Dutchman Robin Haase.

Murray, seeded third, won 6-1 6-1 6-4 on court one in far more comfortable conditions than Wednesday’s record-breaking temperature.

He will face Italian 25th seed Andreas Seppi or Croatian teenager Borna Coric in round three on Saturday.

James Ward is also through, with Aljaz Bedene aiming to make it three British men in the last 32 later Today.

Murray was in confident mood on a rare appearance away from Centre Court, and did not suffer without a roof as early morning showers cleared in time for him to power through in one hour and 27 minutes.
