Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris has made good on his promise to reveal the number of people acquiring St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship through the billion-dollar citizenship by investment programme (CIP).

In an address in parliament on Tuesday, Prime Minister Harris said that as at December 31st, 2015, there were 10,777 primary passports issued under the citizenship programme.

According to Caribbean News Now, Prime Minister Harris told legislators the passports were distributed to over 127 countries across all continents with Asian and European continents being the more popular applicants to the passport scheme.
