An inaugural summer program designed for youths aged 12 to 19 will be launched here this month.

Allied Health Care Services (AHCS) will launch its first annual summer program from August, 6-24, 2018.

It is tailored to inform them on topics such as appreciating diversity; body image; communication skills; mental health; pregnancy options; teen dating; sexual and reproductive health; STDs and HIV; and violence and substance abuse.

According to a spokesperson from AHCS, specially invited professionals will be invited to present to speak on these topics.

The program also includes activities such as interactive discussion sessions; participation in numerous game activities and field trips to various places in St. Vincent.

At the end of the program, certificates of participation will be presented to each participant.

Allied Health Care Services is a business that started last May/October, providing healthcare services to persons within their homes.
