A one-day symposium dubbed “Arts Alive” will be held here next week.

“Arts Alive” is a structured and interactive programme that is expected to provide young artistes and aspiring artistes with the requisite knowledge and skills to help them succeed in a very competitive industry.

The Symposium which is being organized by RS Productions and Mijé Personal Development and Advertising Agency, will take place on October 14th at the Peace Memorial Hall from 9:00am to 2:30pm.

Secondary School students, persons from drama groups and young artiste have been invited to attend the symposium which is the launch pad for an island wide schools and community tours that will begin in the early quarter of 2016.

The Key Note speaker will be former Minister of Culture, Renee Baptiste, with topic presentations to be made by Gloria Williams, Alex Barnwell and Oneka Morgan.
