The Bowmans performing at a Nine Mornings concert in 2013. Christmas Nine Mornings festivities are unique to St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

(WEFM FEATURE) — When it comes to performances at Nine Mornings celebrations, the Bowmans and Carlton “CP” Hall, come immediately to mind.

For this year, 2016, however, there are several emerging artistes who have produced Christmas singles, which are taking the airwaves by storm. They deserve a space in the Christmas Nine Mornings Star line up.

Here are three young trending artistes, whose Christmas songs should allow them a chance to be featured at the main Nine Mornings celebrations in Kingstown and also in the rural ones:

Azariah Gibson
  1. Azariah Gibson: Gibson is number one on the list, as her Christmas single – “Cheers to give” is a favorite among many. The song, on an afro-soca rhythm, produced in Trinidad and Tobago, is doing very well in both St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago.
Sing it like the Stars winner – Caywama Edwards

2. Caywama Edwards: ‘Sing it like the Stars’ winner, 2016, Caywama Edwards, is number two on this list. Her two songs are receiving much airplay, due to the international standards the songs meet, as well as other factors. The songs are; “Christ Child” and “What yo brining”.

Londan Ice

3. Londan Ice: Third on this list is an artiste who can be considered as a      newcomer. Londan Ice took the airways by surprise this Christmas season with his single – Christmas morning. The song brings a “road march” vibe with its sweet parang musical arrangement a good marriage between the vocals and the music.

All of the songs can be found on YouTube. Their performances throughout the Christmas season at Nine Mornings festivities, including the main set up at Kingstown, are anticipated.

Other notable mentions include; Andrez Bascombe, with “Feel it” and Stay Kelly, with “Sweet Santa”.
